If you read my previous posting about how to change the log level in 3Connect into a more acceptable level and thought that editing the Windows registry was not of your flavor, I really understand you. It's not recommended by anyone, actually. Messing around in the registry can have huge negative consequences, if you do it wrong. So you really shouldn't.
That's why I have created a little log level utility for 3Connect (for windows) for you to use instead. The utility does precisely what was described in the previous post.
Terms of use
Once again, you're on your own. This utility has been made to help you. However, you use it with no guarantees from me.
Explanation
The utility is very simple. You can choose to set the logging level to a minimum, which means that only errors are logged, or set it to default level. It's actually possible to set other log levels, but I'm thinking that if you need that kind of information, then you also know how to set a registry value. ;-)
The utility looks like this:

Before you start
You might want to check if you are affected by the logging problem or not. I suggest you try out our new free Mobile Broadband Logging Monitor tool.
Prerequisites
You must also have the permissions to change values in the Windows Registry (which means that you have to be logged on as an administrator).
You need the .Net 2.0 runtime from Microsoft to use the utility. If you don't have the .Net 2.0 runtime, get it here for free.

Note: The utility has only been tested on Windows XP Professional.
